We Turned 3! Thanks To YOU!

Last weekend, Draw Me A Lion celebrated it's 3rd year anniversary, we launched our new Birthday Calendar, and had a mini-show of some of the original watercolours that made it into the calendar.

Thanks so much to everyone who made it out to the event, made some masks, and helped celebrate this milestone! I'm so happy that my little shop is doing well and expanding and I want to thank all of YOU for helping along the way! Thanks so much for all the love & support! You're the best.
Here are a few fun pics from Saturday.

The Birthday Calendar is here!

Ever forgotten someone's birthday? Birthday calendars originate from the Netherlands but we always had one around the house in Germany where I grew up. The difference between a normal calendar and a birthday calendar is that birthday calendars are perpetual. They don't list the days for a specific year but can be used year-after-year with the sole purpose of recording your loved ones birthdays and other important annual events. What a lovely idea – keeping track of all your friends year round. Of course I had to make my own for the shop!

I thought it would be fun to just work with watercolours for a change and take a break from the computer for a while. The outcome is the new Draw Me A Lion birthday calendar. Hang one anywhere in your home, to remember your friends near-and-far all year round.
